These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ScamCheck, operated by Wanaco Oy Ab (Y-tunnus 3457555-8) ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

ScamCheck is a subscription web app that analyses suspicious links, messages, or screenshots and gives an AI-generated assessment of whether the content looks like a scam.

2. Subscription, pricing and quota

• Subscription price: €4.99 per month, billed monthly through Stripe.
• Included quota: up to 500 checks per calendar month, per account.
• Unused checks do not roll over between months.

3. Free trial

• New accounts get a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial.
• You may cancel at any time during the trial and you will never be charged.
• If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins automatically.

4. Cancellation

• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Stripe receipt email or by contacting us.
• If you cancel during the free trial: no charge, and access ends immediately.
• If you cancel after the trial: you keep access until the end of the paid month you have already paid for. We do not issue partial refunds.

5. Acceptable use

• Don't use ScamCheck to harass, defame, or analyse content that does not belong to you and that you have no legitimate reason to inspect.
• Don't try to abuse, reverse-engineer, or overwhelm the service.
• We may suspend accounts that breach this section.

6. Limitation of liability

• ScamCheck is a tool, not a guarantee. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your reliance on the verdicts.
• To the maximum extent permitted by Finnish law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any dispute will be settled in the courts of Finland.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will notify subscribers by email at least 14 days before any material change takes effect.
